Welcome to Kulshan Veterinary Hospital
Welcome to Kulshan Veterinary Hospital, Lynden’s first AAHA accredited, mixed animal veterinary hospital. Our state of the art facility and mobile units allow us to provide patients throughout Whatcom County with quality, compassionate care whether on the farm or in the clinic. Our veterinarians and support staff pride ourselves on caring for every patient as if it were our own.
Kulshan is a progressive veterinary hospital that finds strength in our diversity. With thirteen doctors and an extensive support staff, Kulshan focuses on optimizing the human-animal bond through preventative health care. Whether working on a horse, cow, dog, cat or any other species, our team of professionals focuses on providing the best care available.
Current Changes at KVH:
It is with very mixed emotions that we inform you of some current changes at Kulshan Veterinary Hospital. Many of you are already aware that Dr. Paul Schwab recently left our employ to take a job in Skagit County. Dr. Schwab had been an integral part of our large animal team for nearly twenty years and while we were very sorry to see him go, we were excited about this new opportunity for him and his family. We recently learned that Dr. Brooke Lucas will also be leaving Kulshan to start a new chapter in her career. Dr. Lucas has been a part of both our large and small animal teams for the past eight years. Again, we are extremely sorry that Dr. Lucas is leaving, but equally excited about the opportunity her new position with the USDA, that affords her to spend more time with her family.
Rest assured that Kulshan remains committed to the quality health care of your pets, horses and livestock. We recognize that the transition from one doctor’s care to another always comes with a bit of uneasiness. We want you to know that our goal is to minimize any concerns you have about this transition and to provide you with seamless veterinary service. To this end we encourage you to make us aware of any concerns you might have via phone (360-354-5095) or email (firstname.lastname@example.org). We also want you to know that we are in the process of exploring our options for addressing the voids left by these two fine veterinarians.
